Motherless Brooklyn by Jonathan Letham. Ten on a ten scale! Goes to Sock Knocking!
The Elegance of the Hedgehog by Muriel Barbery. Loving it.
The Moonstone by Wilkie Collins. An 1850's mystery by the first writer of detective stories. Just finished. FUN!
Saints and Villains by Denise Giardina. A new look at Germany Nazi era from the eyes of Dietrich Bonhoeffer. Great.
Cutting for Stone by Abraham Verghese. Goes straight to Best Books List below.
A Gesture Life by Chang-Rae Lee. Beautiful and Understated.
The Death and Life of the Great American School System by Diane Ravitch. Hands down page turner. This book is a must read for every American concerned about the state of ALL of our schools.
